In addition to our added cleaning measures and adjusted operation; Coppin’s operation will be as well. This includes staff wearing masks, washing their hands at a high frequency, sanitizing their hands at a high frequency and utilizing single serve condiments. We will also be eliminating our self-serve coffee station to offer a served coffee station and all menus will be disposable. Additionally; Coppin’s will be operating on a reduced schedule and menus, while we hone our processes in this new normal. A limited Breakfast will be available daily at our Coffee Bar.

We will be going above and beyond our standard cleaning protocols. All high touch areas, such as door handles, restrooms, table surfaces, our retail area, elevator buttons etc. will be cleaned with increased frequency with CDC approved cleaning products provided by our local distilleries and, local company; Proctor & Gamble.
Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at our entrances, our front desk, our elevator banks, meeting spaces and on guest room floors.
Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. Guests will also have the opportunity to check-in prior to arriving to shorten their time at the front desk.
In guest rooms, we have elevated our best in class cleaning protocols and inspection criteria. We will be thoroughly cleaning all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants.
Any associate with a temperature 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher will not be allowed to work their scheduled shift. You will also notice more staff wearing gloves and all staff will be required to wear a mask while working.
While we are coming out of uncharted waters, we are going to do our best to ensure you, our guest, still have the full Hotel Covington Tailored Experience. During the first few weeks, please be patient as we begin to navigate a reopening with a reduced staff, reduced hours and a few reduced touches in our guestrooms. All of these measures are meant for your safety and comfort. They say that Hygiene/Cleanliness is the new form of luxury.
