Hotel Covington + North Photography Waiver & Policy

Thank you for your love and support of Hotel Covington & North by Hotel Covington! We appreciate you bringing your clients here and choosing to capture your most memorable moments with us!

As a 24-hour Operation, we have experienced occasional issues requiring us to create guidelines for all photographers and videographers going forward. We care very much about the guest experience as well as the comfort and satisfaction of our team members.

This waiver must be completed before photography or filming can begin on the properties. Please check in with our team at the front desk when you arrive.

Grant of Permission

The Photographer/Videographer & Client acknowledge and agree that:

• The Hotel grants permission for photographs and video in the lobby area.
• The Hotel grants permission for photographs and video in the client’s contracted event space during the hours noted in the contract.
• The Hotel grants permission for photographs and video in the guestrooms with proper reservation documentation.
• The following areas are restricted – employee-only spaces, hotel hallways and walkways, hotel elevators, Coppin’s Restaurant & Bar, and Knowledge Bar & Social Room without prior written consent from the Hotel.

Image Usage

• The Photographer/Videographer & Client agree that any images taken during their visit may only be used for personal purposes; promotional or commercial purposes require written consent from the Hotel.
• Any images that portray the Hotel negatively or violate other guests’ privacy are not permitted.

Photographer/Videographer and Client Responsibilities

• The Photographer/Videographer and Client assume full responsibility for their actions while on the premises of the Hotel.
• The Photographer/Videographer and Client agree to respect the privacy of other guests and Hotel staff and ensure that no unauthorized or intrusive images are taken.
• Professional and polite interactions with other guests and Hotel staff.

Additional Restrictions

• Moving furniture, sitting on tables or bar surfaces, or standing on chairs and surfaces is strictly forbidden.
• Flash photography is not permitted when near other guests.
• Hotel Staff will not stop their work to accommodate photo/video needs or adjust lighting or music at your request.
