Check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is at 12pm noon.
EARLY CHECK-IN
Early check-in is not guaranteed, you must reserve a room the night before.
PARKING
Self-parking in the adjacent garage is $12 per night (max). Overnight valet parking is $25 per night with in and out privileges. Short-term valet parking is $12. Subject to change.
WHAT IS A GROUP BLOCK?
A minimum of 10 rooms booked on a specific date/s at a discounted rate.
Availability and pricing are subject to the hotel’s market demands and business levels. With a signed agreement, we hold the designated number of rooms from our public inventory and provide a booking link for your guests to make their reservations.
WHAT IS ATTRITION?
Every group room block agreement includes an attrition clause, you are committing to at least 80% of your contracted rooms booking. Attrition is calculated on total room nights cumulatively. If less than 80% of your rooms are picked up by your group, you are contractually and financially obligated to pay for the difference required to meet the contracted total.
WHAT ROOMS TYPES WILL BE INCLUDED IN MY GROUP BLOCK?
A combination of standard Coppin King rooms and standard Queen City Double Queen rooms, based on hotel availability, unless specific rooms are discussed. Your guests can choose their room type when booking their reservation.
HOW LONG DO MY GUESTS HAVE TO BOOK IN THE GROUP BLOCK?
The booking cut-off date is 30 days before check-in and will be noted in your agreement. We will reach out to you as this date nears to remind you of the cut-off, and any rooms
that have yet to be reserved in your group block will be released to general inventory for public sale. Your group rate is not guaranteed after the cut-off is not guaranteed. If they apply, we will estimate attrition charges for the days following the cut-off.
CAN I ADD MORE ROOMS IF MY GROUP BLOCK FILLS?
Availability and pricing are subject to change based on the hotel’s market demands and business levels. We can discuss adding rooms to your group block based on hotel availability. If the hotel occupancy is high, we will quote a new rate for the added rooms.

CAN YOU SHARE WHO HAS BOOKED IN MY GROUP BLOCK?
Contact Hotel Covington Reservations Department, Guest Services, or your Rooms Coordinator for a rooming list of the guests’ names.
WILL THE GROUP RATE BE OFFERED ON SHOULDER NIGHTS?
If your guests plan to stay longer than the group block, we’ll be happy to honor the same group rate for those additional nights before and after your group block. Please get in touch with your Rooms Coordinator for more information.
CAN GUESTS CHECK IN LATE AT NIGHT?
For guests checking in late at night, please share this with our team when booking the reservation online in the “special requirements” box. Guest Services must be made aware to keep the reservation.
